[32], 134pp. Collation: A-L8, M3, lacking final blank. Woodcut capitals.
Binding
Contemporary English calf, blind tooled with double fillet frame to covers, leaf and tongue motif near joint, plains pine with raised bands.
Condition
Minor toning to the title and text else a sound copy. Minor marks, reading wear commensurate with age small marginal tears, final leaf with darker mark near gutter.
With introductions by the English nonconformist clergymen Joseph Caryl (1602 – 1673) and William Greenhill (1591 – 1671).
First published in 1657, and reprinted the same year before this third edition, and with a fourth print in 1672.
